The whole Bohemian region covers about two-thirds of the Czech Republic. We had plans to visit a factory producing glass and crystal according to the old traditions, a local brewery and spend some time hiking in the mountains near Adrspach.
The Swannery was established by Benedictine Monks in the 11th century where they farmed the swans to produce food – how practical! They say that the Abbotsbury Swannery is home to the world’s only managed colony of nesting mute swans, although that is not the only thing you will find there.
After landing at Oslo airport, we picked up our pre-booked car from the airport car rental office and started our trip around south of Norway.
The next short stop was near Geneva Lake. A huge lake on one side and mountains all around. Was interesting to visit Bernthe in German-speaking part.
Large rest area and surrounding landscapes let us to relax after a long trip through Serbia. We visited Durmitor National Park and Black Lake.
